Pork Butchering Demonstration

  • Biltmore Butcher Shop 1 Lodge Street Asheville, NC, 28803 United States (map)

Join David Jones for a roughly hour long pork butchering demonstration on Sunday, January 28th at 2 PM at the Biltmore butcher shop. You'll learn how to break down a side of estate-raised Berkshire pork into all of its various cuts, while having a lively discussion about cooking methods; the history, ethics and health benefits of eating meat; as well as whatever meaty topics come up!

The Biltmore butcher shop is on the Biltmore Estate so your names will be added to a guest list (If you want to get into the house, you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket).

Space is limited to ~ 15 people in the butcher shop. Suggested donation is $15/person or $25/family (whatever this means to you). If interested or you would like to be notified of future classes, contact David at dgjones@biltmore.com.
